BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THIS COMPANY!

Let me start off by saying I will never, ever order anything again without first researching the company. If I had done some research on FDE I would have seen what a terrible and fraudulent company they are and would have saved myself a lot of time, grief and money! I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday to be delivered 12/17, her actual birthday. This was her 19th birthday and this was the first one in 19 years I was not going to be with her since we live 3 hours away from each other. I thought it would be a nice surprise for her to get a floral bouquet from her mom. I included a heartfelt note stating I wished I could be there to give her a big birthday hug. It made me smile to know she would be so surprised. I picked out a nice french floral arrangement. The order was suppose to be $29.99 but once I put in my credit card info in the total was $65.90!!!!! They tacked on ridiculous fees, including $2.99 for the card! None of this was previously disclosed! I was quite shocked but I really wanted my daughter to receive the beautiful arrangement on her birthday so I decided to let it be. This order was placed 2 days before her birthday. So the day comes and I keep waiting to hear from my daughter regarding the flowers. I finally called her later that evening on 12/17 figuring the flowers surely had been delivered by then. I was surprised when I found out nothing had been delivered. It was too late to reach anyone in customer service that night so I decided to try the next day. Here is where my nightmare began. I will try to sum it up as short as possible. I called on Fri 12/18 no fewer than 30 times trying to reach a customer service rep!!!! I kept getting "transferred". I would sit on hold for 10-15 mins each time and then eventually a recording would ask for me to leave a message. I left a message a few time but never received a call back. I finally, I mean after about 3 hours of dealing with this transfer ***, got a customer service rep. I told her my story, how it was very important to me that my daughter receive flowers ON HER BIRTHDAY but that never happened. She responded "well I'm sure they are on there way today". I told her that wasn't the point. I didn't order flowers to be delivered sometime around her birthday, I ordered them to be delivered ON HER BIRTHDAY. She then responded "I'm sure she would still like them today". I told her that wasn't the point that I had ordered them to be delivered on the 17th and that is what I had expected to happen. She told me that her supervisor had given her permission to give me a $10 discount. I at this point let her know that she was dealing with a very unreasonable person. Had I been given some good customer service 30 phone calls and countless hours previously I may have been able to be reasoned with but NOT AT THIS POINT. I told her the only thing I wanted to happen at this point was a FULL refund. She told me she would have to contact the local florist who was to fulfill the order to confirm the order was never delivered and once she got that confirmation she would submit a refund. I asked her if I would hear something that same day and she said yes that I would either receive a call back from her or be contacted by e-mail. I asked her the name of the local florist and she gave me the name. Well, as it turns out I was traveling from where I live to the same town where the local flower shop is (I was going to see my daughter for the weekend). I arrived in the town and drove directly to the flower shop. When I got there they were closed for lunch (my bad luck never ends!). There was a number listed on the front door for floral emergencies. I believe my situation fit a "floral emergency" so I called. The employee answered and I told her my story. She said that her flower shop does not deal with online companies and they only handle local customers. I told her FDE said that they sent them to order on 12/15. She told me they did not have any unfulfilled orders for 12/17 and she doesn't know why FDE would have them listed as a local florist for them. Now I was for sure FDE was a fraudulent company. I never heard from FDE that day as I was promised. So that leads us to today. I called FDE 18 times, asking specifically, by name, the rep I spoke to on Fri 12/18. Again I was "transferred" and then sent to voice mail. I never was able to reach anyone. I finally decided to call my bank to dispute the charges (I used my debit card for payment). The good news is, my bank is taking over now but the bad news is, it could take up to 180 days to be refunded! UGGGGH! This has been a nightmare from beginning to end!!! I have since looked at reviews and see that tons of other customers have had the same experience! I feel so powerless! I hope that someone reads my post and keeps them from using this company!

I order flowers for my 99 year old step-mom for mothers day she lives in PA and I live in Ct. I order flowers on Friday to be delivered on Saturday so she would have them on Sunday for mothers day.Sunday came no flowers, called them up about 9am.because my flowers never got delivered, the lady on the phone said that where on its way for delivery, I waited until 4 pm still no flowers. How can you offer express delivery if you can even get things done right like they advertise. This is really bad business. So I called up again and hade them give me a full refund back, never in this life time will I or my friend will ever do business with this company again.

If your order stated a Saturday delivery and they didn't deliver them then just dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. You should have no problem even if they do deliver them sometime Sunday or Monday, who knows when as they agreed to deliver on Saturday but didn't.

It was my 5th Anniversary and my truck driving husband called FDE. They promised same day delivery-Not! He told them lillies-Not 1 lilly in bouquet. He told them what to write on card and I get a card with words written-NO CARD, NO SIGNATURE. It's kind of funny.

IT IS A DISGUSTING! THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU AND REFUSE TO GIVE ANY INFORMATION! MY HUSBAND ORDERED FLOWERS FOR ME FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY AND THAT CAME AND WENT AND WE CALLED AND SAID WE WANTED A REFUND AND THEY SAID WE WILL SEND AN EMAIL SAYING ITS CANCELED IMMEDIATELY. NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL. I GOT ONLINE AND READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND QUICKLY CALLED MY BANK AND REPORTED FRAUD. WE HAD TO CANCEL OUR BANK CARDS AND DEAL WITH ALL THIS. People, please look for the local floral boutiques. This Company is a scam. DO NOT buy anything from FLOWER DELIVERY EXPRESS. My boyfriend bought me flowers thorough this company which is a third party company. He paid for Platinum Roses with an Exquisite upgrade ( they look very beautiful online). Instead i received a completely different bouquet (if I can call it a bouquet) that had 4 small roses( about 8in each) and some wild flowers around them. I called up the local flower shop that delivered my flowers to me and found out that they only got $40 for my order and they have a $10 delivery fee which left them with only $30 to complete the order. The total amount paid for my flowers was of $170 with $52 in savings which lead to a grand total of $117 So if the local shop got only $40 for my flowers QUESTION IS WHERE IS THE REST OF THE MONEY? I called customer service and complained . The agent I spoke with appeared to be very ignorant telling me that the details of my order were not correct when I have a printed summary of the order and all the charges for it. She kept repeating that I don't understand in order to make me appear and feel like I have the wrong order and That I have no clue about what I was asking her. She tried to tell me that there wasn't an exquisite upgrade on my order and that was why the bouquet was so small when the local florist confirmed that on her attempt to let this company know that she doesn't have the flowers requested they replied back by saying that she could send whatever. I never got this issue resolved. I kept being put on hold until the call will go dead and on my request to speak with manager or someone higher I got hung up right in my face in a very disrespectful way and this is not acceptable. THIS COMPANY NOT ONLY RIPS PEOPLE OFF OF THEIR MONEY BUT IT TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS LIKE ***!!!!! NEVER EVER ORDERING FROM THIRD PARTY COMPANIES AGAIN IN MY LIFE AND THIS IS A SHOUT OUT TO OTHER PEOPLE TO DO THAT TOO!!!

I tried to call this company as well. The same phone number I used to order now goes to a "directory" that can not seem to understand anything say.

A total rip off, nothing delivered was as ordered and will never use again. Think I am going to call my credit card company and see what I can do about it.

I paid a premium for delivery guaranteed same day or next day at the latest. It's now been 3+ days and no delivery. I call, talk to somebody who speaks zero English, get transferred, sit on hold, and then told they are still attempting delivery. I ask for a refund, and I get put on hold again. I called back and was told there was nothing they could do - uhm, ok? but I paid for flowers, I either get my money back or actual flowers. Put on hold again. Finally I just called my credit card company and reported as fraud. And now they continue to send my promotional emails to buy flowers??!! Really?

hi iam so sorry.it won,t happen again. from now on i will use ftd.com and no other flower shops on line. you handled my cancelion beautifully and i thank you very much for your great service and understanding. i have to enter a 100 words so i will tell what happened. i went on line @ 5:00 am to flowerdiveryexpress.com NOT ftd.com and ordered mother's day flowers, w/ a visa. i then called right back and changed the card to mastercard. well my visa WAS charged, so called back and they refunded my card in 3 days. and that was w/ only 1 phone call. no hassel @ all. thank you

ordered a floral arrangement for a family member's funeral. Had to change the date of delivery, but could never speak to anyone who knew what they were doing. Their customer service is outsourced, so the people answering the phones had no clue, finally spoke with someone who took a message and was supposed to pass it on and left my phone number on a voicemail so someone could call me back; received a call back 7-8 hours later, needless to say I never got the date changed and the flowers were delivered a day too early. the flower shop they used sucked, a picture of the arrangement delivered was text to me and it looked pathetic. I paid for a premium yellow floral arrangement in a basket (plastic) and they delivered what looked like a house plant in a wicker Easter basket with yellow flowers in the front. The arrangement was supposed to be big enough to sit in a stand, I'm sure this pathetic arrangement they delivered didn't even fit in a stand. Was totally ripped off. WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!!! Tried calling to complain and 3 days later i still have not spoken with anyone or received a call back. The flower shop they used was Graceland Florists in Mount Vernon New York, DO NOT USE THEM EITHER!!!!The picture on the left is what I thought I ordered and the picture on the right is what was delivered for $118.

My mother ordered flowers from them on March 25, for delivery March 26. They charged almost $25 extra for their service, and did not meet the delivery date. It is March 28, and the flowers still have not been delivered. Every time she calls them, she gets what appears to be a call center in India. When she asked to speak to a supervisor, she was told to call back in the morning. When she asked for a refund, she was told to call back in the morning. They offered her a coupon for 50% off her next purchase. Why on earth would she order from them again?!

I ordered a beautiful arrangement of orchids for my husband for our 37th wedding anniversary, because it was same day service. Also paid $25 for an upgrade, which was really *** of me, since they didn't say what the upgrade was. Guess what? What he got was a few carnations, a couple of roses, etc. in a so-so arrangement. I paid, after all the charges were in, $157.00. I've written four emails, with not one reply, and when I call, the poor people they've hired just say they can't do anything, because their access to the company is limited. I just called again, and finally someone said they'd connect me to a different department, and after being on hold forever, they disconnected me. Offhand, I'd say the Better Business Bureau should get them off the internet.

The Company Is Crooked

My mother ordered from them, and never got the flowers she ordered. She called 30 times or more with no result, and hard to speak to people in English. They keep giving her problems. She calls, they ask her for her "Order Number & E-Mail Address" about 100 times before transferring her to another department, and they then don't answer, and asks you to leave a voicemail, and they never call back. Do not use this service. If you do, you will get only problems. Not only will you not get your flowers, but you won't get your money back, unless you report it in. They refuse to refund you.

5 days later the flowers showed up and they weren't even close to what i ordered and they looked half dead.

I ordered flowers online from flowerdeliveryexpress.com/ and today they showed up. I tried calling to cancel and sending emails and now 2 days later my wife calls and says well the flowers showed... I called to get a refund and they offered me a store credit. I told them I want my money back and the put me on hold for a Senior Supervisor which promptly sent me to a voicemail. I AM ANGRY about this and I will not stop calling these people til I get my money back!
